The picture on the left is a view from my hotel window in Punta Arenas. The Hotel Cabo De Hornos was excellent. The staff noticed from my passport that it was my birthday. Later in the evening they suprised me with a bottle of fine Chilean wine delivered my room. I returned after my trek and they upgraded me to a corner room with a fantastic view. Good memories. I wanted to find a place off the beaten path near Torres del Paine. The Hosteria Mirador Del Payne was a pleasant surprise. It is part of a 100-year-old working cattle ranch. The food was excellent!
