About Me |
I've always had an urge to explore. As a child, I would follow the stream behind my house that would lead me to distant lands where I discovered magical places, rock carvings made by people of unknown origins, and the wonder of indigenous flora and fauna.
I enjoy the solitude of remote places. These trips allow me to reboot and view my everyday life from a different perspective. For the first few days I worry about work and unfinished tasks. But the process has a way of boiling life down to the basics and my mind quiets down. I start to remember things that I haven’t thought of in years and I think about people who have impacted my life. I think about the important things. Although I do these trips alone, I'd like to share the experiences. Thank you for letting me share them with you. |

My Equipment
Most of these photos were shot using only basic point-and-shoot cameras. I recently upgraded to the Sony Alpha equipment listed below. Although not required to take good photographs, the better gear sure makes it easier and more fun.
